Unashamed: Putting Shame in its Place with Alice Kim
How does shame affect you? Does it make you want to hide? Alice Kim joins Karen Hodge to share how shame can reveal our idols and isolate us, but the Gospel frees us to be unashamed.
About the Speaker:
Alice is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia. In 2008, she opened Emmaus Counseling and Consulting Services (emmausccs.com) to offer gospel-centered therapy in the DC Metro area. She finds deep fulfillment in engaging people’s stories and bearing witness to the good work of God to redeem and restore. She is married to her husband, a pastor at Christ Central Presbyterian Church in Centreville, VA and they raise their two teenage daughters. Her past times include treasure hunting at thrift stores and catching up with friends over a cup of coffee.
